Amy Smart is an American former model and actress. Her modeling career started in Italy in Italy, where she was raised before being born in California. Her acting debut came in the year 1996 with her debut in the TV movie Her Costly Affair. The actress struggled for the role she wanted on Starship Troopers. It was a hard time for her to make the transition from modeling to acting since the models were never believed to be actors, and they were usually given smaller and inconsequential parts. Amy got her first recognition for her efforts in the last decade. Then she worked on several of the most famous films including the Crank series with Jason Statham as well as Shameless with Jason Statham, in which she played a recognizable character.
