Amy Smart is an American former model and actress. Born in California USA, Amy Smart began her modeling career there. In 1996 she debuted as an actor in the TV movie Her Costly Affair. It took a long time to be a part of Starship Troopers in a smaller role. In the beginning, it was difficult for her to transition from modeling to acting. This is because most models aren't great actors. And they are usually given insignificant and small roles. However, Amy was determined to keep going and stepped into larger roles, beginning with the TV series The 70s and the film Varsity Blues. In 2005, she took on the lead role in The romantic comedic film Just Friends with Ryan Reynolds. Amy was finally recognized by the industry for her performance over the past decade.
