Amy Smart, an American model, actress and actor. Amy Smart, born and raised California USA began her modelling in Italy. Her Costly Affair, a 1996 TV film which was her first film part. It was a long road for her to star in Starship Troopers in a smaller role. The transition was difficult for Amy as she had to move from modelling into acting. Models aren't considered great actors, so they usually get smaller, insignificant roles. However, Amy did not give up and transitioned to bigger roles eventually starting with the show The 70s and the film Varsity Blues. Amy was then promoted to lead parts in 2005's romance film Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy was finally recognized for the role she'd been seeking since the age of 10. There were several major films within the Crank trilogy alongside Jason Statham. And she also played a recurring role in the Shameless series.
