Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson (born in 1961) was a famous American actress. Elson started her acting career in her early years and as model. Her most well-known role is for her role as Alice Tyler in the CBS Science-fiction show. Andrea was selected to play Lynn Tanner in the popular show ALF in 1986. The actress worked for several popular TV shows, including Movies of the Day before making the decision to leave the industry to focus on her children. Andrea Elson played Lynn Tanner in ALF The teenage child to Kate and Willie. In a 2000 retrospective in People Elson said developing as an actress in the midst of a satcom's viewing audience was a challenge. Born on the 6th of March 1969 in New York City, this green-eyed actress was a frequent traveler as a result of her father's position in the field of advertising. Prior to turning ten the actress had been living in New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea was in San Diego when she met an agent, and the part for which she had auditioned won. Fusco explained the decision in saying "ALF has a lifespan of 285 years which means he's an adult who is able to drink alcohol." NBC cautioned Fusco to stop ALF from drinking in the presence of children as it would be a bad model. Fusco believes that ALF had the maturity to drink and drive, was wrong. In 1995, Fusco was discovered to be suffering from the lymphoma. This cancer was successfully treated and he was in complete Remission throughout the course of his life. In June of 2019, aged 75, he died of the illness at the Lillian Booth Actors Home located in Englewood, New Jersey.
